Ahh, the Berkshires

B and I almost went to Miami or New Orleans this weekend (!!!) but decided to save on air time and "settle" for the Berkshires. It was the best choice we ever made, hehe, especially for this Katrina-filled weekend...Highlights of the weekend included a stay at the historic Wainwright Inn, a visit to the Norman Rockwell Museum, the Stockbridge Bowl, eating at the Helsinki Cafe and Aegean Breeze, and of course wine and cheese with Superman, John Williams, and Josh Groban at Tanglewood.

Me and family. I got a cousin visiting from Milan, Italy and one from California. Can you guess who? See that little guy? He's gonna be our ringbearer, hehe... 

Grace is just the cutest. 

At out school's annual summer carnival. That sign was a last minute idea. We glue pasta shells down and used tempera paint. Looks cute, no? Can you tell I have more time on my hands? Summer school is OVER! YAY! And i have one whole week to do nothing. Then 2 more weeks of doing a coupla hours of work each day til the start of the fall school year. Not bad, hehe... 

Me and my elementary/junior high school buddies...and margie, hehe...at one of the many 30th bday celebrations we have been and will be going to this year. *sigh* 

Me and 5 out of my 7 bridesmaids, hehe...across from me is P, my maid of honor, who organized this night out... 

Wala lang, i just thought it looked kinda cool...kusina namin... 

The baby grand that got me playing (non-church related) music again. Working on my old pieces make me appreciate how i was able to pull of such intricate piano playing. I can't believe I was able to play (memorize) the kind of songs I did at 11. At the same time, I appreciate these songs that I hated to play back then...damn i wish that piano was mine, hehe...
