I think I'm being uncharacteristically (a good thing) organized, but Papa B thinks I've gone off the deep end. You be the judge.

This is from a document titled, "Baby Checklist":


In the pink bag:

Completed insurance or pre registration forms and health care insurance card
Lip balm (in purse)

Sanitary pads
Watch with a second hand (For timing of contractions)
Change of clothes for home (maternity clothes)

Papa B, thankfully, is acting out my "nesting" instinct to get everything ready for the baby because frankly, i'm physically useless lately. I do have moments where the energy peeks out and says hello, but mostly its been slugging around. Much like me. Baby kicks and squirms and jabs throughout the day. Lately he's been jabbing me when i'm on the computer, driving, and or trying to write school related stuff. Like he's telling me, "mama, stop and just lay back and feed me!" I'm really anxious to meet this little guy coz his movements have me imagining his personality traits already. Like, I think he's going to be either really shy or a smart ass because everytime I announce that he's moving, or even just gesture to B that he is moving, the baby freakin' stops and freezes! The stinker! Anyways, only 5 more days of school to go and I'm free!

Lots been done to prepare for the baby - we have pretty much everything material (i.e. crib, diapers, clothes, etc) that we're gonna need for the baby. This is a huge deal coz just a week or so ago, i was having mini-meltdowns that we were totally unprepared for the baby. After the baby shower(s), I felt a huge sense of relief that we were finally nearly ready. Friends and family have been so generous with us, it makes us wanna tear! So, things are good. I still stress out, but what else is new? All in all, we're golden.
